happiness

HAPPINESS (This is only an assignment, not a reminiscent)

Today is just like any other day, except today I am doing something special. It’s much more special than that of any other day. Today's cloudy and it's going to rain, but that doesn't even prohibit what I am going to do.

Right here I am in the kitchen of the most popular pizza company, Hot Pizza. Everyday thousands and thousands of orders are heard here. Some wanted chicken, some wanted beef, and some even wanted mutton! Sometimes I get too confused I had to write them down. But today, I will be sending ten cartons of these pizzas to someone special. Actually he ordered one, but because of him being so particular, I and manager concluded to give him ten for free.

"Let's get it started!" I hollered. We even got together to achieve the best result. We discussed what to put in.

After all the hard work and effort we’ve put in, we achieved something what we wanted. We felt thankful to each other. And now, it’s up to me send those delicate pizzas. It will make me happy and also the special client. I just cannot wait for that unuttered moment of great success.

When I got out of the building, I felt a rush of adrenalin in my body. I am feeling very zealous today because of the delivery. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Then they escorted me into the BMW car with an umbrella. On our way to the destination, it started to rain. I always wished that everyday would be raining like this. It gives me some kind of chilling sensation. I wore smartly on that day. The journey wasn’t a long one though. From our franchise at North Texas, his house was about 100 miles away.

About 3 hours of traveling, we finally reached our destination. His house was like any other, quiet and peaceful, so colourful. I felt some nervous breakdown in me. I was agitated.

“Just go,” one of my closest colleagues, Brian said. He gave me all the strength and courage to pass it on. I continued my fidgety steps.

I pressed on the doorbell. It goes “ding dong”. After that was a moment of anxiousness.

Then from outside I heard someone shouted, “Clara, go check who is at our doorstep.”

Sounded like a man though. The door was pried open with a smile so wide, it gave me all the ease I need after a hard day’s work!

She then turned to her back and called her father off and said, “Pop! It’s Bon Jovi sending us pizzas!”

Her father popped out from his couch.

"I hope this ending is not a cliff-hanger..."
